Advertise on the Isle of Wight Index

The Isle of Wight Index (Wight Index), is a well established index of Isle of Wight based websites, set up in 1997. In its simplest terms it is the Yahoo! Directory of the Isle of Wight.

The history behind this website is one of the key reasons for it’s success in the UK’s major search engines. The website is totally independent and completely unbiased. Visitors submit websites to be included within the index, these are then manually reviewed and categorised. Additional Isle of Wight related content has been developed and this sits alongside the main web directory.

As a result of these outstanding search engine results, the Wight Index receives 1,750 visitors every day.

Each area can only have a limited number of sponsors, and the spaces will be allocated on a strictly first come first served basis, with each advertiser being given the opportunity to renew each year.

Each sponsor on Wight Index will receive an advertising button, professionally designed, appearing on the chosen page.

We can offer banners as 'button' style adverts down the left hand side, or horizontal banners across the top of the page. All pages can hold 5 adverts.

Buttons appear together as a random set of five, banners appear one at a time on a random basis.

Banner design is provided free of charge.

Enhanced Listings

Our search results are now all presented in a frequently updated random order, within each listing type. The results are grouped together in the following order:-

Gold listings - appears at the top of each search - £200 per annum

Silver listing - appears above all other listing apart from Gold - only £100 pa

Bronze listing - appears above free listing - FREE for those linking to us

Free listing - any Island website can always have a free listing
